i've looked through so many post and tried just about evereything to get my forum installed yet i still get this MESSAGE:

Error description: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/usr/local/mysql-5.0/data/mysql.sock' (2) /home/content/r/a/n/rantenor/html/the_menagemiami_lounge/includes/class_core.php on line 311
The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.



godaddy says it's something wrong with my script and ticket support says im doing something wrong when i followed the instructions to the T...Can anybody , sombody tell me what i am doing wrong!!!
