Question about running a development board for testing
 

I want to run a test version of my forums in order to work on some new plugins, etc... I am already aware of what i need to do with regards to the license terms re: doing this.

My question however is: How do i disable subscription emails, birthday emails, and other automated things from being sent to members of the 'test forum'? Is there a setting biried in the admincp somewhere which i am missing, or do i need to disable some scheduled tasks?
