Ruth Jebet sets world record in 3000-meter steeplechase

Teenager Jebet, the Kenyan now competing for Bahrain, ran the second-fastest time in history to win gold in Rio less than a fortnight ago. The previous record was 8:58.81 by Gulnara Samitova-Galkina of Russian Federation at the 2008 Beijing Games.
