Kenyan-born teenager Ruth Jebet blew away rivals in the women's 3,000 metres steeplechase on Monday to win Bahrain's first ever Olympic gold medal. A day earlier, another Kenyan-born runner, Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa, won women's marathon silver for Bahrain.
