vbulletin vs. simple machines forum
 

hi guys, i am a newb and i was trying to create a local forum based site

www.vegastennisclub.com/forum

i was using simple machines forum but it was/is really hard to edit/manage it and i was wondering if vbulletin would be any different? i was/am having trouble editing banners and mainly controlling bots/hackers.

i know SMF is free and vbulletin is like $150? just curious if i were to get and use vbulletin, if it would be much different/easier?

any advantages/disadvantages from both?
