Template Map? How to modify main page
 

A couple of questions:
1) Is there a template map that explains what each template does and where it is used? One thing that has been very frustrating is trying to figure out what each template does when trying to make changes.

2) I want to modify the main forum page (index.php?) and move the "upcoming events" block to the top of the page. This will facilitate better calendar integration with alot less hand work by the admin team on our forum.
