Upgrading the hard mode... PLEASE help
 

Hi all,

I have a forum with over 140.000 threads and thousands of users that was hacked and destroyed a couple of days ago. I have a *.sql DB backup from last week so I'm saved. The problem I have now is that I'm trying to dump the new DB into the latest 3.8 version (from 3.6) and I've found some very big issues.

To start with let me tell you that I've decided to try and restore one table at a time and it worked "kinda" great. In my stats, now I'm able to see how many threads and posts I have but:

1. I can't see my old Forums (it's stuck at the default "Main Category" and "Main Forum" with no threads in them.
2. In the statistics section, I only see 1 Member (me) and also only 1 Active Member (also me)

Can anyone tell me what exactly (maybe in cache or something like that) what do I need to play with so the system recognizes the forums starting with forumid 3 and on? (BTW, defaults forums 1 and 2 that does display on the site are not in he forums table... wth???)
