Banning - built in protection for super admin? I would like to give my moderators the ability to ban users. Am I right in assuming there is some "hierarchy" built in, eg. a moderator cannot ban another moderator, or myself (as super admin). If not, what else do I need to do to ensure mods can only ban usergroups "below" them? Can you also confirm, a banned user can easily be "unbanned" and all posts, user profile, PMs etc restored as normal? Final question... am I right in thinking that because "Can ban users" is only set on a per forum basis (in the moderator permission section for that forum), it means that a mod can only ban members who have posted in their forum, or is this a global thing (and they can ban anyone via their mod cp)? Sorry for these questions... thanks in advance. |
