Moderated posts don't show up as new posts!
 

Is this a bug or a misconfigured setting?

I have a moderated forum in which users can post threads which are moderated, containing links to other interesting sites for example.

So they come into the "moderate threads" section of the admincp but I can also approve them by using the "thread tools" pulldown in the post itself.

After having the thread approved, it shows up as newest thread in the forumdisplay.php but NOT in the index.php (forum main page).
The approved post is from augus 2009, the older one which shows up as new in the main forum display is from may 2009.
