I currently have 23k members and 650k + posts...
I am serving over 2 million page views per month

My current server is

Processors4ModelIntel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHzChip MHz3002.05 MHzCache Size2048 KB
10 MBS UPLINK
250 GB ATA WDC WD2500YS-01S (Direct-Access)
2gb ram

I I get alot of 300-400 users online at one time I am looking for a new server, this one is crashing alot and the server loads are running high


This is the one I have in mind
Intel Core2Quad Q9650

Will this be a good move forward, or is it just about the same as I have now. I hate to sound ignorant but I have to upgrade
