3.6.4 receiving Content Encoding Error I have been running 3.6.4 for a while now with no issues and fairly heavily modified with add-ons and template changes. My forum is at forum.8bitbrigade.com Today, I wanted to see about upgrading to the latest version. So, I created a directory on my forum installation called testvb so the path would be forum.8bitbrigade.com/testvb I installed vBulletin 3.8.3 successfully and could log in. I still had my login active to my old 3.6.4 installation at the base url. After the installation of 3.8.3, my 3.6.4 forum has issues. Whenever I try to view a forum, I receive the message ------------ Content Encoding Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. * Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. ------------ The rest of the forum seems to work okay. I can view the main forum index. I can view usercp and profile stuff and edit it. I can log in and access my admincp. I can view and read/send PM still. I just cannot view forum posts/threads. Nothing has changed with the 3.6.4 installation and the webhost has not made any changes. GZIP compression is turned on in my forum just like it always has. Turning it off works, but displays other weird error messages at the top of my forum when viewing threads/posts. Any help is greatly appreceiated. |
