Importing an existing VB forum into a new database.
 

Just wanted people's opinions on this

I've run a VB forum now for some 6-7 years (I forget how long) and in all that time, there's numerous database entries/fields/tables/rows (etc) for mods which were installed years back, but were never removed

I don't feel comfortable enough to go manually deleting entries in the database, so I thought perhaps it might be a good idea to Impex all the forum data into a fresh database

Is this a good? or bad idea?
