URGENT open connections are killing my site
 

Hi,

Every now and then when a user or myself posts something, or tries to send a PM or anything is submitted the site sort of hangs,

What happens according to my admin (jonesolutions) is that this one action causes over 400 connections to the server, which in turn blocks the IP because it thinks it is under attack.

I thought it might be the server at first, or memory etc, so I upgraded to a brand new super server with 8GB of memory....
