Social Groups Let new members choose groups after registration
 

The Social Groups function in vbulletin is not integrated very well yet. The use of social groups could be greatly increased, if admins have the option to turn on the following function:

After registration is completed, new members receive a notification asking them if they want to select social groups to join. Members can choose to:

1. select social groups to join
2. select social groups later
3. not to select social groups (dismiss notification)

If they choose 'select social groups to join', the will be taken to an overview or tree of categories with the groups in each category. This page should have a 'join' button for each group or a selection box for each group, with a 'join selected groups' button at the top and bottom of each page.
