Me and a few of my friends are thinking about starting up a small community forum with IPB free (Invision Free). So we each decided we'd create a legitimate user name, and then one fake name each. There's one problem though. We're just coming off of a proboards horror forum, where we did the same thing. We started off with some fake names to get things rolling. Once the forum reached ten members, we dumped the multiple dummy members, and things snowballed into success! Our proboards forum has 600 members now.

Anyways, we wanna do the same thing with this new non-horror forum. The problem? When we logon to our IPB forum, we cannot log on our fake names at the same time. Even without logging out, if I logon as my real name, and then logon my fake name, my real name disappears from the active users box.

In our old proboards forum, we could logon our real names, plus our fakes names, and have them all appear in real time under the USERS CURRENTLY ONLINE marker. As if six users were all online, when it was just us three, and our three fakes. So is there some sort of script, hack, or something that can allow this with IPB?? Or is it a cookies issue?
