Bahrain cuts ties with Iran

MANAMA, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bahrain on Monday announced it was severing diplomatic relations with Iran and asked Iranian diplomats to leave the country within 48 hours. The decision follows a similar step taken by neighboring Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
