How do I... keep one forum out of the "New Posts" search function?
 

So here is the challenge. I have a site that specifically focuses on a narrow subject area. However I also have an "off topic" forum for people to have separate discussions about anything they wish to discuss. Some people like the off-topic stuff, others can't stand it and don't want to see it. I want to block the off-topics posts from coming up anywhere on the site UNLESS you specifically navigate to that forum.

The front page of my site is a vBadvanced module and I am able to block recent off-topic posts from showing in the "recent posts" module. However I cannot block the off-topic posts from showing up in the "new posts" listing that comes up via the nav bar at the top of the page. Is there an easy solution to block one forum from the "new posts" listing?
