Post count question
 

This may seem like a really stupid question but:
If a user double-posts and I merge their post, does their post count decrease by 1?
Scenario:
A user posts a reply and now has 11 post count, he then posts again consecutively and has 12 post count. If I merged these post counts would his post count revert to 11?

I'm not sure how the post count is calculated so I'm unsure.
