Instant messaging
 

I am very confused about a feature in vB3. Instant Messaging and private messaging. Both having completely different meaning at least I think they do. My interpretation of instant messaging is like MSM, Yahoo IM and AOL IM where people can chat. vB3 has features for IM, but when I try to make this work it just gives me a dialog box to send a private message. Anyway it doesn't appear that this feature is working. There is no popup window and no IM status icon. I am inclined to beleive that I am doing something wrong or I am just mis-reading the features. If anyone can explain what I may be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
