The Forrest Sherman traveled 36,000 miles and visited nine ports, including stops in Spain, Israel, Bahrain, Jordan and Italy. A rain-soaked homecoming didn’t damper spirits for hundreds of sailors and their families Saturday at Naval Station Norfolk.
