whenever I ban an IP address I get banned myself!
 

There is a vbulletin spammer that is coming from a softlayer IP: 75.126.76.5

I've deleted the hundreds of posts that he has posted on my forum and tried to ban the IP but when I do I get the message:

"Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here"

My IP address is
68.32.61.117

I am running the latest vbulletin and I have a paid license. I had to run 'truncate strikes' this last time I tried to delete the spam posts because my admin login had been hit with that 15 minute rule. The forum isn't even live yet, there are no real users. The forum address is http://forums.greenrobot.com. The first time I tried to IP ban this IP I logged out of the admin so there was no way to recover it except by doing some elaborate thing I found on this forum. Please help!
