Announcement: ngChatPFC 1.0.0 module
 

ngChatPFC is a module to hook phpFreeChat to ngWebSite 1.6.3 and phpWebSite 1.6.3 and enables a Chat communication for your site. As the name implies, ngChatPFC runs with the webserver of a ngWebSite or phpWebSite base, thus does not need nor supports the IRC network protocol. The advantage is, neither server registration is required, nor special client software. With the site and the module, Chat is supported everywhere and for everyone in the world, or an intranet, whatever you want. The usage is most adapted to that of native IRC channels and everybody a bit familar with irc feels homed.
But I do not want to publish the module until some more heavy load and security tests are run. (Anybody knowing about security and traffic fields may imagine what I mean). Two test sessions are planned, one on this Friday (afternoon in europe and before noon in america = same time but different clock :-) and another at the weekend. Details will be told at this forum thread just in time. For security reasons, the chat at the moment is not open to the public.
