Bahrain activist's sentence reduced to 1 year in prison

MANAMA, Bahrain (AP) — A prominent human rights activist in Bahrain charged over tearing up a photograph of the king has had her sentence reduced to one year in prison. The appeals court decision Wednesday comes while Zainab al-Khawaja remains free.
