Site hosed during upgrade I was upgrading an old board from v2.3.x to 3.6.x per direction from this site. During the upgrade it found a table in the database that was not standard (faq) and it error'd out. I deleted this table and now when I run it of course it's crashing on it's own newly created table from the first upgrade run. Quote: Database error in vBulletin : Invalid SQL: CREATE TABLE calendar ( calendarid int unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment, title varchar(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT '', description varchar(100) NOT NULL DEFAULT '', displayorder smallint NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', neweventemail varchar(255) NOT NULL DEFAULT '', moderatenew smallint NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', startofweek smallint NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', options int unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', cutoff smallint unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', eventcount smallint unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', birthdaycount smallint unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', startyear smallint unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '2000', endyear smallint unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT '2006', PRIMARY KEY (calendarid), KEY displayorder (displayorder) ); MySQL Error : Table 'calendar' already exists Error Number : 1050 Date : Saturday, July 18th 2009 @ 02:42:51 PM Script : http://www.domain.com/forums/install/upgrade_300b3.php?step=1 Referrer : http://www.domain.com/forums/install/upgrade_300b3.php IP Address : xx.xxx.xx.xxx Username : Classname : vb_database So how do I get it to keep going now??? Also, isn't there a database compatibility tool to check your database prior to upgrade if it's compatible? I seem to remember such a tool but I can't find it. Please help, site is live and broken. |
