Any idea why would one download of file be counted as few downloads Hello, I know this is related to hacks and you might suggest I try at vb.org but I think it is also related to default vbulletin download handling I guess. I am using a hack that limits number of downloads per 24h in my case for certain usergroups. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=152701 I am also using who downloaded this attachment hack. Anyway what seems to happen for some visitors is that one download is counted more then once. Like in whodownloaded window 3 members downloaded certain file. 2 of them are logged once which is fine. But one of them is logged as if he downloaded it 17 times in a period of 1 minute. Same member complains that he hits download limit per 24h after downloading only 2 files and limit is set at 20. Which does make sense if 1 of his downloads counts as 17. Does anyone have any idea please what could cause such behavior? Could it be certain browser or some browser related setting? I've tried downloading as normal user with both IE and FF and my downloads are counted properly. |
