I don't know if this is the right place to ask this. I did search before asking.

How do I know if a site has a pirated vBulletin software or not? Do I look for the copyright information on the bottom of the page? I don't recall being on a pirated website that I know of, I want to know this in case I stumble across a pirated site in the future.
