How to promote forum features to regular members?
 

Any ideas how to promote (vbulletin) forum features to users without internet expirience, who didnt know much about forums (may be even didnt visit any other boards)

Like: thread subscriptions (this feature isn't visible until you click on menu), or changing styles (also not very trivial, until you read all options).

Many members use default forum settings, they only setup signature and avatar, and thats all, but I am sure they will like this features...
