.htaccess not working - custom Apache configuration
 

Hey vB.com.

I'm having issues with my Apache configuration and I have no clue what it is.

.htaccess seems not to be letting me want to use it... so I need some help. Could anyone tell me possible reasons of why it wouldn't work?

Configure line:
./configure --with-ssl --enable-ssl --enable-mime-magic --enable-speling --enable-deflate --enable-so --enable-rewrite --prefix=/usr/local/apache

PHP Configure:
./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --with-zlib --enable-dba --enable-ftp --enable-exif --with-gd --with-ttf --with-imap --with-gmp --with-gettext --with-imap-ssl --with-kerberos --with-mhash --with-mcrypt --with-mime-magic --enable-mbstring --with-snmp --enable-sockets --enable-zip --with-bz2 --enable-calendar --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config --prefix=/usr/local/apache/php --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/apache/php --enable-force-cgi-redirect --disable-cgi --with-zlib --with-gettext --with-gdbm
