cronjob - stupid question requires smart answer Ok I have a cron job set to run every minute. I want to change it 5 every 5 mins. For the "minute" row with cronjobs, there's 6 pulldowns. It's supposed to be "Minute of the Hour" and each goes from 0 to 59. Help says "This is the minute of the hour the task should run. " ??? Shouldn't there be only *1* pulldown for minute of the hour if it goes from 0 to 59 ? Here in the eastern time zone, we have only 60 minutes in the each hour, so 1 pulldown would cover all 60 :) So can anyone explain what all the 6 pulldowns are for when vB says it's "minute of the hour" ? Or, can it be set to run 6 times throughout the hour on those minutes? (that's what I'm guessing). SO I could have one pulldown at 10, one at 15, one at 25, etc.. and it would run on the 10th, 15th, 25th, etc.. minutes of each hour? |
