Listing attachments when posting takes FOREVER when there's lots
 

I have a 3rd party uploader program that allows my users to upload a LOT of attachments at once (500+ is common).

However, it takes vB *forever* to list files once the list starts getting long. It gets progressively slower each time it adds a file after the upload is complete (where it lists the attached files above the "Manage Attachments" button, in the "Additonal Options" section)

Why is this? Will cutting out the code that lists the files to the users speed things up?
