The defense lawyer of Bahrain's opposition leader, Abdullah Al-Shamlawi, stated that "there are news saying the Public Prosecution has appealed the verdict issued against the Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Sheikh Ali Salman".
