Blank Pages For those that get blank pages as I got this after I switched to a dedicated IP But was not sure if this was exactly the problem. Support on this site is not the best, even if your willing to pay for it but that is just my opinion as others could have received great support were they actually took a look at your problem. I was working with Steve Machol and all he did was direct me to this forum. Please see this for all the known causes of blank or 'white' pages: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages Then I wrote back and said yes I have seen that and I can not run maintenance due to the white pages. I Have even tried to upload admin cp and modcp to no resolve. I thought maybe you could take a look his reply was there were many things in that I could do. For starters I could not even install vb for any of those suggestion to work and when I got it installed all I had was blank pages with a fresh install. For those that run into this problem I have a attached php file for you to run that will fix all your permissions as mine was not set right even know I zipped and uploaded vbulletin as a zip file. Folders should be 755 and files should be 644 run this script from the root of your site to fix all OH for those that have had a problem and fixed it PLEASE just don't post fixed. let others know how you fixed it so others can benefit. VBULLETIN IN MY OPINION IS THE BEST SOFTWARE YOU CAN BUY, there Support is not that great as it should be better especially when you are paying for this software. I don't think it is that hard too take a look at someones site and see if there is something they see that your not. Thanks and have a great Day Attached Files http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/images/attach/php.gif fixpermissions.php‎ (888 Bytes) |
