Users will not recieve notification e-mail
 

Hello again everyone

I am some what of a noob to phpwebsite. I would like to know how to setup or get e-mail working within phpwebsite. I would like users to get a notification e-mail when new users sign up for the site as well as use e-mailing through the alert module. Also I notice that the forgot password will not e-mail out passwords to users to their e-mails. If you can please help me out and walk me through step by step on how to set this up I would appreciate it. I am hosting the website myself so I have access to anything on the server. again I ask that you start out fresh with me since I am new to this. If you can help me get this working for my church group I would forever be thankful for the support.
