The Saudi effort appears to have at least nominal support from four other GCC countries — the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain — as well as Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Pakistan. Great Britain has also endorsed the action.
