Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted
 

I am trying to upgrade one of my forum: I followed the steps provided in the documentation and I am receiving the below mentioned error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8839589 bytes) in /home/user/public_html/includes/adminfunctions.php on line 3209

My memory limit was set to 400M. I changed it to 500M from php.ini, restarted apache, but no luck.

Any Idea? I have raised a ticket in Vbulletin and waiting for their reply..
