How to limit downloading attachments to certain usergroups
 

Hi there,

i have a forum with alot of attachments and have found that people just join to download the attachments and leave. it is causing problems with my server/hosting.

how can i make it so only certain usergroups can download the attachments?

i went to the usergroup manager and changed the usergroups manually but it didn't work.

i also went to registered users(primary usergroup) and made it so they could not download but that didn't work.

any suggestions?
