Installing New vB and Restoring Old DB
 

We had an issue with our server and lost the majority of our files. I have a DB backup from yesterday that I want to get back up and running.

I am not quite sure how I reinstall vBulletin and then import the database so that it works in conjunction with vBulletin. I had to start fresh from cPanel so this is what I have tried.

1. Created new mysql database with same info as the old one
2. Installed new version of vBulletin
3. Tried to import DB via phpmyadmin but since it has the same info it rejected it.
4. Then I deleted the new DB, attempted to restore the old DB and still got an error in phpmyadmin.

Any help you guys can give me would be much appreciated. Sorry if this has been asked before. I fail when it comes to searching forums well.
