Multiple forums that share usernames
 

Hi,

I would like to split up our forum into several forums by country.

We have external game and trading systems that needs to have unique userids and names across all forums.

What would be the best way to achieve this? The options I can see are:
- Install a new forum and hack it to use a central vbb_user table
- Just configure the new countries as subforum and only display them based on some usergroup ID for that country
- Install a new forum, make sure the userids start at different intervals, then check all forums for a unique username when creating an account.
