Can't access forum in it's own dir/redirect creates loop, what needs to change?
 

after the install and set up in the admin ctrl panel, I emailed my members the new forum is live only to find changing the redirect from the mybb forum folder to the vBforum folder results in my ff browser detecting a loop that will never complete, i talked host gator and found little info aside from renaming the .htaccess that was initially blobking me, so now i have to either set up a splash page with a link, or type out the url.

I am told by host gator that it is somewhere in vB that is causing the redirect to loop, how do I fix this?
