Transferring Phpbb to Vbulletin & More
 

Hello !

We have a pretty good sized forum currently using PHPBB2, when looking to make the upgrade to phpbb3 I thought I would check out Vbulletin first. Since we are a non profit, this is a lot of money for us. So before we make the change I was curious if there is a way to transfer posts & user accounts from phpbb to vbulletin?

Also, we currently use Hostgator, and do have the occasional problem with running processes, etc. Does anyone use this with Hostgator & have you had good luck?

I have also seen a lot of addons that looks like they would meet our needs. Do most have to purchased or are there a lot of free options out there as well?
