Usergroup editing problem I'm having a problem trying to edit a usergroup on a friends board. When I select "usergroups" in the admincp, and select the usergroup I need to edit ( in this case it's Visiting Admin/Mods ), make the changes, and click on "save", rather than make the changes to the existing usergroup, the board creates a whole new usergroup, identical to the old one, name and all, except for the group id, and the fact that there are no users in it. The changes I made are now in that usergroup, but not the original. I'd like to be able to just make the changes, select save, and move on, but I can't. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be, or how it can be fixed? I know I can mass move the users into the new usergroup, but I'd really like to find the cause of this problem, and hopefully fix it for him. His board is 3.7.2, and although my own board is 3.8.1., I have never seen this before, even when I was running the same vb version. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
