Custom search addons
 

I would like to see a custom search option given for new threads.

Example: In a restaurant review forum it will have options that the admin can set up:

Price
under $20
$20-$100
Above $100

Cuisine
Chinese
Italian
etc

Location
city 1
city 2
city 3
etc

So the person posting the thread can select which checkboxes apply. Then on the search page members could search restaurants by clicking the checkboxes like: city 1, $20-100, Chinese

Is this a pipe dream? Am I going to have to create my own database?
