AUGUST 4 will mark the centenary of the day Britain entered in to one of the costliest conflicts in history – the First World War. Fighting continued until November 11, 1918 and thousands upon thousands of men lost their lives. Over the next few weeks we will be looking at some of the stories of Dorset’s Great War heroes.
