Search tags I see on bulletin.com's advanced search feature it has a lot more options than the stock. I would like to have a thread starter be able to click a checkbox tag on a thread and then have members be able to search via this tag. Example: Checkbox option "dine under $100" when creating a thread in the restaurant section, so members could search in the restaurant section and click search tag "dine under $100" and receive all relevant results. I realize there is a thread tagging (keywords) feature with VB, but members tend to abuse this and it would result in having to clean up a lot of threads all the time...and I would prefer keep it as simple as a check box...to avoid having to create a seperate forum specific to "dining under $100". What are my options ? I was considering altering the existing "thread solved" feature but I'm not sure if this appears as a search option on VB adavanced search. |
