Does session timeout have any effect on resources?
 

I hadn't even thought about it, but somebody brought up the issue of session/cookie timeout possibly affecting resources. I never got a clear answer from the user which was worse though...higher or lower? I wouldn't think that if a user was inactive it would had any effect on resources because they aren't doing anything (besides maybe something that refreshes like a chatbox). So then I wondered if maybe the act of logging users out took up resources.
