Bahrain budget gap doubles in 2013, spending rise lowest since 2009

DUBAI, June 2 (Reuters) - Bahrain's state budget deficit nearly doubled to 410 million dinars ($1.1 billion) in 2013 but was only a fraction of the original projection as spending rose at its slowest rate since 2009, finance ministry data showed on Monday.
