"new posts" "today's posts" broken
 

Whenever anyone clicks on "new posts" it always says
"Sorry, there are no new threads to view."

When clicking on "today's posts" it says
"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

What could be the issue? It worked fine before the upgrade from 3.7.x to 3.8.2
