Changing fulltext search minimum length
 

I know the default is 4 characters when using FULLTEXT search, and I know I need to add the following to my.cnf to reduce it to 3:

ft_min_word_len=3

According to MySql web site, I need to rebuild the index after restarting mysqld. Is that something that can be achieved by using the vBulletin Admin console and doing a Repair/Optimize on all tables?

If not, how do I do it?
