reputation display bar without enabling reputations
 

I have a mod that allows for the bumping of a users reputation. I want to display the reputation bar without enabling User Reputations. Shouldn't I be able to go into the template "postbit_legacy" and

alter this:

$post[rank]

$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_left]
to this:

$post[reputationdisplay]
$template_hook[postbit_userinfo_left]
to make the reputation bar always show?
