Recently a moderator deleted several thousand posts. These posts were mostly from a few select users, but threads (and as a result, other posts by other members were also deleted). I have a database backup; however, due to the size of the forum, I cannot simply restore the database without loosing even more data.

What I'd like to do is restore data (posts, visitor messages, and threads and other members replies) for certain users while also keeping posts they've made since their other data was deleted. Of course, I don't want to manually restore the data; I was wondering if it was possible/plausible to restore data from a certain time period for certain users, and if so, how? If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
